Refund Policy


📄 Refund Policy for AHA Instructor Courses

We understand that plans can change. We are committed to working with you in the event that you need to cancel or reschedule your instructor course. Please review our detailed refund policy below, which applies to all AHA Instructor Courses (BLS, ACLS, PALS, and First Aid/CPR/AED).

This refund structure is based on the number of days since your official registration/enrollment date and assumes you have not yet attended the in-person course.


✅ Full Refund – 100%

Within 1–7 Days of Registration

  • Cancellations made within 7 calendar days of signing up are eligible for a full refund (minus any processing fees, if applicable), provided course materials have not been issued or accessed (e.g., online Instructor Essentials or printed manuals).
  • If digital course access has already been granted, the cost of the materials may be deducted from the refund total.


💰 Partial Refund – 75%

8–14 Days After Registration

  • Cancellations made within 8 to 14 days of registration are eligible for a 75% refund, minus any non-refundable material costs.
  • Instructor Essentials access, if already issued, is non-refundable and will be deducted from your refund amount.


💰 Partial Refund – 50%

15–21 Days After Registration

  • Cancellations made between 15 and 21 days from your sign-up date are eligible for a 50% refund, minus any course material fees.
  • Any online content or shipped materials are non-refundable.


💰 Partial Refund – 25%

22–30 Days After Registration

  • Cancellations made between 22 and 30 days after registration are eligible for a 25% refund, minus the cost of any digital or physical course materials already provided.


❌ No Refund

After 30 Days from Registration

  • No refunds will be issued for cancellations made after 30 days of signing up, regardless of whether course materials have been accessed or not.
  • You may request to reschedule your course one time without penalty, as long as it is within 60 days of your original course date and subject to availability.


🔁 Rescheduling Policy

If you are unable to attend your originally scheduled course, you may:

  • Reschedule one time at no charge, if requested at least 7 days prior to the class date.
  • Rescheduling requests made within 7 days of the class will be subject to a $75 administrative fee, unless due to a documented emergency.


📦 Non-Refundable Items

  • AHA Instructor Essentials Course (online access)
  • Shipping and handling fees for printed materials (if already shipped)
  • Course completion cards or certificates (if already issued)
